Mark Pollard
Mark has worked in the cleaning industry since 1994. He started in a junior sales role and worked his way up to board level for two of the UK’s leading cleaning and support services companies, before founding Turquoise Cleaning with Brad in 2009.
Mark’s aim for Turquoise is to build strong supplier/client relationships, cut through the red tape, and most importantly to recognise the hardworking and meticulous members of staff who work for Turquoise.
“Outside work, I have a close family and a big passion for sport. Since giving up rugby I spend my spare time doing all sorts of endurance challenges for charity, particularly running and swimming. So, you can normally find me training somewhere for a marathon, running across desserts or swimming across continents and oceans!”Mark
Brad Collings
With a Military background, Brad joined the cleaning industry in 1992 and has worked as a director for large national companies and smaller family-run businesses, working on a wide range of contracts from Royal Palaces and households to Sotherby’s and Abbey Road Studios.
Brad’s aim it to ensure Turquoise delivers a high-quality service and grows through recommendation, gaining a reputation for delivering high standards of service and commitment.
“I relish spending time with family and friends and really enjoy sport. I represent Great Britain in Dragon Boat Racing as well as doing some outrigging and getting to the gym. I am a founder of a Dragon Boat team for ex-military personnel with injuries and impairments, who compete against ex-service teams from around the world as well as able-bodied teams in the UK.”

Meet The Team
Sami Bassam
Sami has been with Turquoise since the beginning, starting out as a cleaning supervisor before being promoted to area manager in 2012. He is incredibly hard working and we often wonder if he ever sleeps as he is so often working with his cleaners at night and clients during the day. Sami manages our business in both the City and North London. Outside of work Sami is a family man with five children.
Janette Clachar
Janette originally met Mark and Brad when they all worked for OCS back in 1998. Janette was recruited to Turquoise in 2013 as area manager for the South of England. With more than 30 years experience in the cleaning industry, it’s no wonder Janette works so well with her clients and staff. She had been an integral part in growing our business. Janette has three grown up children and one grandson and outside of work enjoys family holidays to the Caribbean.
Pedro Ferrao
Pedro is the newest member of the Turquoise Team joining in August 2018 as an Area Manager for the Surrey and South London area. Originally from a catering background Pedro has over 8 years experience in the cleaning industry specialising in office and school cleaning. He values loyalty and good communication with his staff which is shown by how long employees have stayed working with him. Outside work Pedro is a keen cyclist and swims as a hobby.
David King
Our north area manager joined Turquoise in 2015 as ‘game keeper turned poacher’. David was formerly a client of ours, and obviously impressed with our service! David has been an excellent addition to our company, not only sustaining a quality service but growing the business throughout Scotland and Northern England. David is married with a son and young daughter and is a keen fan of Edinburgh football team Hearts.
Sandra Bailey
After graduating in 2003 from Surrey University with a degree in Hotel and Catering Management Sandra worked in retail for 14 years mostly as a store manager for Marks and Spencer before joining Turquoise Cleaning. Sandra is married with 2 young boys, and spends all of her spare time taking them to football and gym classes. Sandra enjoys baking for my friends and family and one day would love to enter The Great British Bake Off!
Moussa Toure
Moussa joined the Turquoise team in September 2019 as our new London area manager, as the business continued to go from strength to strength. Moussa will be looking after key accounts at M&S, WHS and several of our bar accounts.
Moussa is well placed to understand our clients needs after spending the previous 15 years in a variety of retail management roles, the most recent being a store manager at high street retailers Superdrug. Moussa is a very passionate manager and loves spending time developing and coaching his teams to deliver excellent service and high standards. Away from work, Moussa is married and a father to two lovely children. Moussa is very keen about all sports and loves going jogging in his spare time.

Beata Kucia
Beata has been employed for us since the very beginning, working at Gatwick Airport since 2009. She began as a cleaner at M&S and now supervises all our operations at the airport. Apart from her excellent working standards she is very friendly and approachable and our clients think she’s marvellous too!
Peter Jide
Peter joined Turquoise Cleaning in 2012 working as a cleaner in a gym. He now covers various sites in Liverpool Street, London, as our night supervisor. He’s very popular with his colleagues and clients and is an integral part of our team.
